Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park

• Depart from Kampala/Entebbe in the morning for Kibale National Park.
• Enjoy scenic countryside views, rolling hills, and traditional villages.
• Lunch stopover in Fort Portal, the tourism capital of Uganda, known for its picturesque landscapes.
• Continue to the Crater Lakes region for an evening of relaxation.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Community Walk

• Early breakfast and transfer to the Kibale National Park visitor center.
• Attend a briefing session, register, and get assigned a chimpanzee group.
• Embark on a guided chimpanzee trek, tracking these primates in their natural habitat.
• Spend one hour with the chimps, observing their behavior, social interactions, and playful antics.

Afternoon: Bigodi Wetland & Community Walk

• Visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its rich birdlife, butterflies, and primates.
• Spot the Great Blue Turaco and other unique wildlife.
• Experience the Bigodi community walk, where you learn about local coffee brewing, banana beer making, basket weaving, and visit a traditional healer.
